Section1Considering a Move to Apple?

Apple vs WindowsPower Consulting Group is one of only a few Managed Service Providers in the city that offer full support and integration of both Windows and Macintosh platforms on the same network.  This experience and know-how sets us apart from your average Joe when considering a move to incorporate those hard to ignore Apple computers into your network environment. Also be mindful of these tidbits:

  • Apple systems can connect to an updated Windows environment without a hitch
  • Apple systems are virtually free of viruses and malware thus leading to reduced costs and increased productivity
  • Software incompatibilities are a thing of the past:  Now Office = Office, Outlook = Outlook and so on…
  • Apple computers come with built-in productivity apps such as iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD that allow you to integrate your design and workflow needs without additional costs
In a nutshell, Macs can do all those business related tasks that PCs have always accomplished but with a little more flair and a little less aggravation than their PC counterparts.

Mac/Windows Integration Services
Apple vs Windows 3

Small businesses can now relax knowing that we are no longer under the concrete rule and sway of good ole’ Microsoft. Things have changed in business technology and the landscape (from desktops to tablets to mobile devices) is ever evolving.  Power Consulting can help to answer the question of:
“Which operating system gives me the best bang for my buck and fits my mission?”
Here’s how:
  • PCG will perform a complete technical needs assessment
  • We will determine if your network ‘back-end” equipment is the right fit for Apple integration (Want to retain your Windows servers?   ….no problem)
  • Do you like Windows but LOVE the Mac equipment?  We will be happy to migrate your Windows systems to Mac desktops either in a virtual environment or booting Windows directly on your Mac.
  • Are you hesitant to make the switch due to inexperience or lack of training?  Not an issue… PCG will provide customized Mac training based on how you do business.

Newsletter Footer 3
Dear Friends,
When I thought of dedicating a newsletter to focus on how Apple can help small businesses I never imagined it would be a “tribute” edition but unfortunately – as life would have it – it’s a sad day in the Apple world due to the passing of it’s founder Steve Jobs.  From a technical and human perspective it’s a huge loss to us all as (whether we like it or not) Apple and namely, Steve Jobs, changed how people interact with technology.  And, as our trademark indicates, technology is for people – and how we master that interaction will truly affect how we master our business.
Sincerely,
GP Signature
