Apple stops selling iPhone 4S in China
Apple stores in China have temporarily stopped selling the iPhone 4S to protect store employees and customers, the New York Times reports. The iPhone 4S was scheduled to hit the Chinese market on Jan. 13 for the first time. Unfortunately, enthusiasm for Apple’s latest gadget turned ugly, with gangs of scalpers reportedly fighting each other in front of Apple stores. Apple to launch 7.85-inch iPad in 2012, say sources
Apple is likely to launch a 7.85-inch iPad prior to the fourth quarter of 2012 in addition to a new iPad scheduled to be released at the end of the first quarter, according to sources in the supply chain. Global shipments of tablet PCs are expected to reach 60 million units in 2011, of which 70% will be Apple’s iPads. Take advantage of IRS Section 179 for 2011 IT purchases
Congress has extended IRS Section 179 to include IT purchases for the 2011 tax year. Qualifying IT equipment purchases (most computer hardware and software) can be deducted at full cost from your 2011 business taxes, instead of being amortized over several years.
